Hersheys uses genetically modified ingredients in the U.S. and Asda does not sell products that include GM ingredients (Glaberson, 2010). Obviously, Hershey want to enter global market needs to adjust their ingredients at first. The ingredients use for North America doesnt mean it fit European or Asian Market. These repairments have been based on understanding local culture. Whats more, Hershey should pay more attentions on their chocolate packages. They develop different series packages of chocolate in different countries. Hersheys white and brown can be market as classic series. They can add more colorful packages to attract childrens attentions. For example, in China, Red is a strong color which means wealth and happiness. Hershey can make red packages chocolates in China. In a shot, Hershey want to expand internationally, they must integrate into each countrys culture. As a global brand, Hersheys try to cover all people in different ages and status. For example, Hershey can develop chocolate looking coffee drinks, chocolate sauces, and chocolate gums. Now, the major of Hershey employees are from North United. To entering foreign market, Hershey has to hire more foreign employees and build international police squad. Hersheys designers should know more about foreign culture. They can not only insistent of their American style. Even executives of Hersheys should have some international backgrounds and experiences. Hershey can hire some executives who have international background and experiences. At the same ti me, Hershey can send their design team to the county they want entering. Whats more, Hershey has great partnership with North America wholesalers and retailers such as Wal-Mart, Sams club, and Walgreen. Hershey has advantages on high domestic market shares. 43% of US domestic chocolate market share provide Hersheys stable sales. Thus, Hershey should make its development base on steady their US market (CNN, 2011).CommunityWe make donations of cash and products in countries across the globe where we have a presence. Hershey engages employees to get fit and stay well.EnvironmentHershey increase use of sustainable packaging since 2009. Now they are working on a process to define opportunities to reduce the amount of materials they use by for example, optimizing seal sizes and implementing new technologies, and to identify and test sustainable packaging alternatives (Glaberson, 2010).All of these factors help Hershey build a great reputation in North America. Hershey has already get success at North America market. Thus, its time forHershey focus on expanding its foreign market.ConclusionCulture today is heavily focused on personnel health. In the past few decades, pe ople have become much more aware of the various factors that negatively affect their health and work hard to avoid them. As a general rule, chocolate and other candy are viewed as an unhealthy snack. Therefore, Hershey needs to continue to expand and market healthy products in order to gain a greater market share for example, low calories, low fat chocolates bars. Moreover, Hershey can put focus on dark chocolate which is popular among ladies (Jones, 2010). Second, Hershey should pay more attentions on its gums and chocolate flavor coffee drinks. Thus, to better entering Asian Market, Hershey only focus on its chocolate products is not enough. To expand global market, Hershey has to invest in advertisement. Whats more, Hershey can keep working on their charity activities, and foundations. To help people from all over the world, Hershey can set up foundations in different countries.Pri ce and quality are two keys determine the success of entering foreign markets. Hershey should still keep its affordable price with best quality. Hershey can corporate with local chocolate maker with manufacture and packaging to reduce their cost. The hierarchy of Hershey Company should be more international. Hershey needs to hire more designers, executives, and employees with international background or experiences. The commercialization of many holidays is continuing to expand and the popularity of gifts for these holidays is also increasing. Hershey can provide holiday products in outlets also their website (i.e., Hallmark, Barnes and Noble). These Traditional holidays (i.e., Christmas, Valentines Day, Mothers Day, and Halloween) allows Hershey to optimize the importance of their specialty gift products. By providing specialized gift products,Hershey can increase their sales and expand quickly in foreign market. Finally, Hershey can design different product lines. For example, Hershe y can use its source entering organic chocolate market. Hersheys organic chocolate faces to European, developed countries which their cultures are more focus organic food. The premium product line can help improve Hersheys brand images. Also, it can meet more customers needs.ReferencesACALORIECOUNTER. (2013, October 16). Poverty Destroys Education in America Essay

Poor community do not have weaker work ethics or lower levels of motivation than wealthier people (Iversen & Farber, 1996 Wilson, 1997). Although poor people are often stereotyped as lazy, 83 percent of children from low-income families have at least one employed parent destination to 60 percent have at least one parent who works full-time and year-round (National Center for Children in Poverty, 2004).In fact, the severe famine of living-wage jobs means that many poor adults must work two, three, or four jobs. According to the Economic Policy Institute (2002), poor working adults spend more than hours working each week than their wealthier counterparts Low-income parents hold the same attitudes about education that wealthy parents do (Compton-Lilly, 2003 Lareau & Horvat, 1999 Leichter, 1978).Low-income parents are less likely to attend school functions or volunteer in their childrens classrooms (National Center for Education Statistics, 2005)not because they care less about educa tion, but because they have less access to school matter than their wealthier peers. They are more likely to work multiple jobs, to work evenings, to have jobs without paid leave, and to be unable to afford child care and public transportation. It tycoon be said more accurately that schools that fail to take these considerations into account do not value the involvement of poor families as much as they value the involvement of other families. one particular content area thats of their interest, and everything thats in it has to meet certain standards *These conditions are the result of a tremendous growth of social inequality, combined with a governmental assault on social curriculums in recent decades by politicians of both big-business parties. For societys youngest members, this finds expression in the growth of poverty and hunger, attacks on education and welfare programs, and an increase in violence and abuse What the government failed to do was enact a basic income guarantee for all citizens. Free-market economist Milton Friedman had recommended a negative income tax in his 1962 book Capitalism and Freedom, and in 1967 a National Commission on Guaranteed Incomes confirmed the idea.In 1969, President Richard Nixon announced a Family Assistance Plan that would pay $1,800 a year to any family of four with no outside earnings. The program passed the House of Representatives with two-thirds of the vote but was rejected by the conservatives who controlled the Senate Today, poverty is becoming a national catastrophe even while the highest income brackets prosper. From 2002 through 2006 the economy was floated by the housing bubble, with many lower income people getting into homes of their own through the proliferation of subprime mortgages.

Good vs Evil in King Lear Essay

Life will always bestow us with choices which we must wisely choose either a moral or mean response to. Shakespeare exemplifies goodness and wickedness in King Lear. The play presents a powerful manifestation of unwaveringty, specifically finished the characters Kent, Edgar, and Cordelia. Kents unrestricted true-bluety to Lear trunk st adapted throughout the play. He recognizes Lears tragic flaw and remains faithful, even after being banished. His reliability is further divulged when he attacks Oswald, Gonerils loyal servant.Kents defensive actions result in him being placed in the stocks. This sacrifice adds to his loyal attitude of pursuing the Kings well-being and safety. Oswald is loyal to Goneril, and acts well as a contrasting character to Kent. They both share the attribute of loyalty however Oswalds loyalty is based on base decisions, while Kents is not. Following Lears death, Kent foreshadows that he too will pass on, reuniting himself with Lear. Furthermore, Edgar is b etrayed by his evil, manipulative brother, and he is forced to disappear.Edgars goodness is displayed when he treats Gluocester with kindness, regardless of his fathers misjudgment. In addition, Edgar gives his father strength by saving his animation making him believe a deity has saved him from spring off a cliff. This renaissance causes Gluocester to think and act more wisely in future endeavors. Edgar and Kents morality and loyalty are not touched by their mistreatment provided by their superiors, which ultimately verifies them as accurate symbols of good.Cordelia is an exemplar for true virtue in her acts of forgiveness and loyalty towards her father. Lear, distressed by his beloved little girls response of nothing to his love test, banishes Cordelia and denies her any land and power. Lear turning his back on Cordelia foretells destruction, since she is one of the only people in Lears life that is loyal and expresss genuine feelings towards him. Furthermore, she foreshadows h er death by returning to the kingdom to the aid of her father. She understands the dangers of returning, but despite these dangers she continues to emanate loyalty. Shakespeare delivers the existence of suffering through the presence of good and evil. Through Kent, Edgar, and Cordelia, Shakespeare has made it apparent that evil is unavoidable, yet virtue, loyalty, and forgiveness is rooted to everyone. It takes certain individuals to have the courage and power to be able to express these moral characteristics.

When Lady Macbeth hears about the pro phecy, all she thinks about is her husband becoming king. So, Lady Macbeth convinces Macbeth to kill Duncan in order for Macbeth to become king as soon as possible. If the three witches never told Macbeth the prophesy of him becoming king, none of the murders would score happened. Therefore, without the witches, there would be no evil in the play. (I, Scene 4, lines 57-58) This quote shows Macbeths great desire to become king and also shows how he is aware that his thoughts are evil. But, he does not do anything to keep himself away from these dark thoughts and he eventually commits the evil murder. The murder is certainly avoidable, but he let Lady Macbeth crook him. This nights great business sway and masterdom. (I, Scene 5, Lines 80-82) This quote shows how Lady Macbeth has total control over Macbeth and how Macbeth put the power into Lady Macbeths hands.Macbeth could have told Lady Macbeth to stop her plans, but preferably he gives all the power to her and eventually agrees with her. Therefore, the murder of Duncan is completely his fault because he lets Lady Macbeth influence him and commit the murder himself. Macbeth is also responsible for the other murders in the play because he hires three murderers to kill Banquo and orders his servants to kill Macduffs family. Consequently, Macbeth is responsible for the evil done in the play because he involves himself in all of the murders in the play.Macbeth is accountable for the evil done in Macbeth because his murder of Duncan causes a chain reaction and brings about the rest of the evil in the play. Although Lady Macbeth has a notable influence on Macbeth to commit the murder of Duncan, it was ultimately his decision to kill Duncan and order the other murders. The Three Witches incites Macbeth and Lady Macbeths desire for the locoweed of Scotland, but Macbeths decision to commit the murders ultimately brought darkness and fear onto Scotland. Macbeth is responsible for Duncans death, and that murder causes a chain reaction and incites the other murders. If he did not murder Duncan, there would not have been any evil in this play to start with. Ultimately, Macbeth compels to arise these evils, and it is his greed to blame. Macbeth is already known as a man of integrity for being appointed as the Thane of Cawdor, but his greed and avarice brings about the evil that he carries out. This relates to human na ture because even if a man has all(prenominal)thing to gratify his inevitably, his greed can demand for more, leading to trouble just like Macbeth. This demonstrates that if you only care about your own needs and always ask for more, you will be unsuccessful. As Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi once said, Earth provides enough to satisfy every mans needs, but not every mans greed. Word Count 1057

Physical characteristics of these children play a huge part it is pathed from in effect(p) relationships, opportunities, and personal qualities these youthfulish children go forth find essential to subjugate dangers and to thrive in their lives. Teachers most restrain in heed that development and improvement of assets is an ongoing process. Not all children possess the same asset but all raft grow and develop over time. We need to pass as legion(predicate) assets as we butt abrogate to the children we picture one time or daily. Teaching our children to hold smart decisions, be answerable assimilators and caring citizens is a goal for all educators. By teaching young children at a young age of kindergarten through third grade to me is the foundation once they atomic number 18 out of the home. acquire tender things, through new soundings by teaching boundaries and what the expectations be to take a leak a type of empowerment. With the decease of solid relationships mingled with adults and young children, peers argon central to asset baseing. Everyone put forward build assets needed to success. solely children, youth and even adults toilet and are building the required assets through community and family, by vie their own roles. It is done through positive patronise in a constructive, active home and instill. By giving the core to their self- assumption, this get out stay with t hem as they grow. It important to install empowerment to all children, this can be done by positive reinforcement. Complement day is a fun rewarding why to teach this.developmental Assets are important for any child to learn to possess them betterThese are important characteristics for all children regardless of background, gender, scotch status, ace or family situation (Webb, 2010 p. 227). To have these as early as possible sponsor the children avoid take chancess and stay away from participating in risky demeanor. It sustains them learn how to make honest choices and caring responsible adults (Schultz, 2006). It really is the foundation to represent to relationships opportunities, and personal qualities that all young people need not be a risk. at that place is a list of the 40 developmental assents web page is http//www. earch-institute. org/assets for all ages. developmental assets are grim up into 20 External Assets and 20 inborn Assets. Each one dives into four categ ories. External Assets Support, empowerment, boundaries, constructive use of ones time and expectations these are needed to help damp a rounded life. Teachers have the responsibility for these young so they end up with the creating internal assets too. There inevitably to be an allied commitment to nurture their core qualities, which leave alone guide them to their choices, which will help generate a well-balanced self, capable of resolving issues, and focusing on opportunities. These four categories of internal assets are a pledge to learn social skills, positive morals, and social skills and convey them a positive indistinguish superpower about themselves. For teacher, developmental assets are is the foundation to a wide-range of children and adolescent growth, the ability to spring back for setbacks, and one social and mental health. The more assets young people have the better. Children with more assets at a young age will most likely grow up to be considerate of other, able to put to death more and become responsible adults. These individuals contribute to their society with a meaning(prenominal) purpose for their lives. So unless by taking the time to know who they are features a strong foundation the can build on. Its important to help the children find their loyalty to learning with positive values. This can be done through social planning and decision making, which will give them a positive self-esteem. What it comes bundle to is that Developmental Assets are the ground work for basic life skills and traits that are a very important start for children to have successful growth and development. It is like giving them the tools to ensure that they have skills to deal with if experiences they will jar against on to make a successful adult.Capable of making good choices for themselves and being that positive enamour needed for the others around them. The song the comes to mind is by Michael Jackson called I believe that children are our furthers, it is a example of what is need so badly in our community. The one-third risk factors I have elect are low parental support, mentally ill parents, and participating in public assistance programs. agnatic support/involvement in education and home is a racy fundamental start to a successful life.Without the support of inside and alfresco of the school gives a greater chance of a child being at risk. Just by attending parent-teacher conferences, come oning interest, and picture expectations makes more of a exit to a child than one realizes. To me, school is important at any age, but a child with low parental support may never see the grandness of it through the parent and needs to get support. Another way for a child to be at risk is having a mentally ill parent. Mental illness can have social problems causing many issues within families, school and work.It is not easy for a child to cope with a mentally ill parent. It can thrust the role to be reversed the child take care of the parent, divergence no support in the schools and lack of a role model. The child can be ignored or put in to danger. There are children from broken homes that are at risk too. These children are at higher risk in education. There are a wide range of behaviors that come up with a broken home. It has a huge influence on academic performance, psychological and mad suffering, social misbehavior and puerile pregnancy to name just a few. There is a determine that says children that come from broken homes were three times more likely to suffer from attention deficit disorders than children form intact homes (Schultz, 2006). Children model the behavior that they see the ones they look up to. If it is lacking the home it is the teachers role job to give them positive engagement that will develop the wonted assets. Developmental Assets model is a philosophical prelude to developing youth rather than criticizing them so they can avoid invalidating behavior and excel at positive behavi or(Codie, 2010 ). To be a mentor to students at the aim they are in need of.Our children in school today have a growing need for stronger home to school community than ever as the deal with a variant of situations, having anything from a mentally ill parent, to children that are aquiline on different programs due to providers not having the finances, right down to having very little parental support. Our children are relations with increasing choices and need a strong support system to depend on alfresco of school. Being a family with good communication skills gives children empowerment of safety and good resources that can be utilize in school and the community. As a school, there are haemorrhoid of different ways to help children feel like they are fully capable of achieving their true potential drop. There are a variety of controversial situations children face each and every day inside and outside of schools. In school, there are small groups that play games that address situation they may face on a daily base of operations from bullying, dealing with anger and how to deal with it appropriate to the situation on the card. nearly schools have exemplary programs for dealing with anger, showing them faces on a chart and how they are feeling and what the following step is to stop the anger. It is on the child desk or note book and every menageroom wall. This is allowing the child in control of their behavior and letting them learn they can achieve this goal. The biggest thing is to get the parents mixed in the handling of what is crush for their child. Teachers can make a great impact on our cosmos through the relationships with students. Teachers should help each student meet their fullest potential by providing an atmosphere that is safe, able to support risk-taking and encourages a circulation of ideas. To see the familiarity to learning through the eyes of the child taught by am ginger up is the highest level of sat faction. In education it i s a process and sadly some are overlooked. As a teacher, the students would be briny concern, guiding me in my philosophy of teaching. It takes experiences and we all have much to learn but to strive to do to teach each and every child as I innovate into the workforce. I think the surroundings should always contribute to an environment that is allowing the teacher to be the guide, it should also be a place that let the child natural interest are free to learn form and the finally one is to show respect for all. Helping students to find the inner nd support in their path success, on most be a mentor and teacher that helps all in need, and by doing this the world is going to be a better place. Class rooms should be about the students and what they can bring to their success. The surrounding that the students are in each day makes a different. When using pictures and things to relate to their class in a contribute to their educational needs. Visual aids are a way to let the child br ing success as a whole but for them self too. Showing the children of the next that they have the ability to learn with the tools available is the role of a teacher.A thriving classroom/school is to teach children how to communicate their own beliefs and nurture their own ideas. Children learn from teaches commination and it leads to trust and positive relations. A fair way to teach this by having a time set aside each week for the children to attracter a name and to give a complement to the other students. It builds respect as well confidence for the speaker and receiver. In conclusion, it the student that come first and that is the foundation on which all teaching decisions should be booked. To keep an open mind is to be flexible, each and every one learns a little differently. We as teacher have to learn and change as to what the childrens needs are. We all have the potential to bring something unique and specific to the table but when the door is open at a young age more door s will open. Through the use of assets using communication and treating them like we all extremity to be treated things work out for the best. All it takes is the time to find the common ground between you and any child. One life touch is one step closer to success. Its like plant seeds for the future and instilling sound balance in their life. References Codie McLachlan. (2010, April 30). 0 Assets videos target adults as well as youths. Saint City News, 17.
